Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Competitive Physics when you use this site. We've kept them readable. By using the site, you agree to what's below.

Accepting these terms

By accessing or using Competitive Physics ("the site"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, which are part of these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. If you are under 18, you may use the site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf.

02

What the site is

Competitive Physics is an educational website of interactive physics lessons, simulations and practice questions, run by Dr. Tejaswi Katravulapally under the Geeta·Physics family. It is provided for learning and self-study. The content is currently offered free of charge, though some features may become paid in the future (see section 06).

03

Acceptable use

You agree to use the site for lawful, personal, educational purposes. You agree not to:

  • copy, resell, redistribute or publicly republish the lessons, simulations or question banks as your own or for commercial gain;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems;
  • scrape or harvest content in bulk, or use automated tools to strip material from the site;
  • use the site in any way that infringes the rights of others or breaks the law.
04

Intellectual property

All content on the site — text, diagrams, simulations, code, design, the logo and the "Competitive Physics" and "Geeta·Physics" names — is owned by Dr. Tejaswi Katravulapally / Geeta·Physics or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may use it for your own personal study. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from it for any public or commercial purpose without our prior written permission.

05

Tutoring & bookings

Links on the site let you book one-to-one tutoring through third-party platforms such as TeacherOn. Those sessions are arranged and delivered under the terms of that platform and directly between you and the tutor. This site is not responsible for third-party platforms, their payment handling, or the scheduling of individual sessions.

06

Paid features (now & in the future)

Some parts of the site are free today. We may, at any time, introduce paid content, subscriptions, courses, downloads or memberships. If we do, the following apply:

  • Prices & description. Any paid feature will show its price and what's included before you pay. Prices may be shown in Indian Rupees or another currency and may exclude applicable taxes, which will be added at checkout.
  • Payment. Payments will be handled by third-party payment processors. We don't store your full card details; your payment is subject to the processor's own terms and security.
  • Subscriptions. Where a feature is offered on a recurring basis, it may renew automatically until you cancel, and we'll make the renewal terms clear at purchase. You can cancel future renewals as described at checkout or by contacting us.
  • Refunds. Refund eligibility for any paid feature will be stated at the point of sale. Because digital content is delivered immediately, some purchases may be non-refundable once accessed, except where the law requires otherwise.
  • Changes to free content. We may move a currently-free feature behind a paywall, or change what's free, at our discretion — but we won't retroactively charge you for use that was free at the time.
  • Access to what you buy. A paid purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use that content for your own study; it does not transfer ownership.
07

Third-party links

The site links to and loads resources from other services (for example Google Fonts, TeacherOn, YouTube and geetaphysics.com). We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their content, availability or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

08

No warranties & limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," for educational purposes, without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the content is error-free, that the site will always be available, or that studying here will produce any particular exam result. Please read our Disclaimer for details.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Competitive Physics and Dr. Tejaswi Katravulapally will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

09

Suspension & changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time, and we may update these terms as the site evolves — for instance, when paid features launch. When we make material changes we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. We may also restrict access for anyone who breaches these terms.

10

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the courts having jurisdiction there, unless a mandatory law in your place of residence provides otherwise.

We're glad to explain any of these terms — including how future paid features will work — before you rely on them.
