Lalitā Priyadīpikā:
Splendours of the World Mother

Experience the magnificence of the Divine through the World Mother personified as Lalitā.

In the ancient wisdom traditions of India (Bhārat), the practice of worshipping the Divine through a thousand names, known as Sahasranāma, has endured through time. This form of worship involves vocally uttering each name while meditating on its profound significance, with the ultimate aim of dissolving the individual self into the universal Oneness.

Inside This Exposition:

  • Deep Commentary: Unraveling the essence of the first 111 names with word-by-word meanings.
  • Wisdom Synthesis: Harmonious integration of various branches of wisdom to reveal hidden mysteries of creation.
  • Volume 1: Focuses on capturing the most crucial aspects and the quintessence of the text.

The "Lalitā Priyadīpika" series represents a dedicated endeavor to unravel the essence of each of the thousand names found within the original Lalitā Sahasranāma text.

Doctoral research on stochastic FEL–driven ionization and quantum dynamics.

Abstract (Condensed)

This thesis develops a rigorous theory to quantify how stochastic fluctuations in self-amplified spontaneous emission free-electron lasers (SASE FELs) modify near-resonant photoionization in atomic and ionic systems. Using density-matrix dynamics, the work compares fast averaging schemes, Monte Carlo simulations, and a perturbative cumulant-based averaging method. The study demonstrates how pulse duration, coherence time, and peak intensity govern Rabi-driven yield oscillations and broaden asymmetric Fano resonances into Voigt-like profiles (shown for He and Li+ via the 2s2p 1P doubly-excited state). The cumulant approach remains accurate to higher intensities while being far more computationally efficient than Monte Carlo, especially in low-coherence regimes.
