59) Learning from the past (poem)

Whenever confused in life, just hold on and look back, where you will find your self making a set of decisions whose outcome is the present confused state. But this helps you to rectify and get inspired through mistakes and move forward again! A small poem in this regard !

In the midst of busy life,
Rests a while, the man on the drive
What he wants nor where he heads,
Knoweth not of these aimless treads

Dives in to the pool of memory,
Searching for his defined life theory
Amazed by the vastness encountered,
gazes past all his instances that he also dishonored

His starting station in the pool,
was the thought of youthful drool
Re-thinks how a convicted man falls,
Off the cliff because of the lust for Gals !

His next station was at the thought of Friends,
Who made his life decisions amend
Out of whom he knows none at this time,
He dulls himself, realizing that he was just a wind chime !

Then he fine-tunes his pool recorder,
To shed light on his doubtful endeavor
Thus he finds a hero with a zeal,
To only realize that his fate hasn’t yet a seal

With this young hero in him re-born,
dives out of the pool with the single horn
Symbolizing his one pointed goal,
That which he always wanted within his soul !

Learning from his past mistakes,
Smiles a single for his foolish retakes
determined to not fall for any lust,
Only to reach his goal First !

  • Good to see a poem on your blog! I used to think that man cannot be defined by just one aspect. The multiple faces complete the identity.

  • Wow, so your blog has poems too !

And great idea ! This is a useful way to post viz. reposts when one is more busy elsewhere.

  • …good to get a good rock band to tune this melody…this reminds me similar to Coma by GNR that is echoing me in my ears…my all time favourite
